Our Social Policy Division uses science and evidence to inform public policy and advocate for stronger systems, improved programs, and the reassurance that every family in Puerto Rico has opportunities for social and economic advancement. We use a collective impact framework, in partnership with communities, government agencies, community-based organizations, academic institutions, and other sectors, to develop analyses, recommendations, and proposals that promote social transformation. Our work integrates applied research, practical experience, and community engagement to drive structural change, support informed decision-making, and advance more accessible, effective, and equitable services. Through local and federal efforts, we contribute to the design of policies that respond to the realities of Puerto Rico and promote community well-being.
